Truvía® Natural Sweetener Product Review

Image
If it isn’t sugar, it isn’t “good” for you, right?!?   That has always been my impression, that anything other than pure sugar was artificial, and thus, not truly good for your body.   When my sampling of Truvía® arrived in my Love VoxBox from Influenster I was very skeptical about trying it out.   To ease my worries I did a little research first.    Truvía’s® main ingredient is Erythritol which really sounds like a nasty chemical to me!   Actually, Erythritol is a naturally fermented sugar alcohol that is found in grapes and pears.   It’s made by a culture in a process like making yogurt from milk.   The culture is then filtered, dried, and crystallized, making it an ingredient that is 99% pure.   My next question was why be concerned about using something other than sugar to sweeten my baked goods, drinks, fruit, etc.??   The American Heart Association quickly informed me that women should be getting no more than 6 teaspoons a day (100 calories) and men no more than 9 teaspoon

Kiss Nail Dress Review

I’ll admit that I’m way too busy to worry about my nails!  However, when my Love VoxBox from Influenster arrived I was intrigued by the idea of an instant fashion manicure in a box.  Kiss recently introduced a new product - Kiss Nail Dress : Fashion that Sticks, which is the ultimate nail fashion for fingers and toes. Just peel, apply, and shape for a manicure that lasts up to 10 days.  On in minutes, off in seconds without remover.    Nail Dress is available in 18 different styles, many of them featuring 3-dimensional jeweled designs.  Check out Peplum, a deep black with multi-colored gems for a pop of color, or Babydoll, for a golden and glamorous jeweled look.  Skip the topcoat, Nail Dress has it built in. With 28 strips in each package, you can cut up your extras to create designs that can be used on top of polished or artificial nails.  Nail Dress doesn’t dry out the way other polish strips can, so you can save them to use on your next DIY mani.  A nail design booklet is inc

Back at the end of February I was invited to apply for another Old Navy  Style Council Sample & Share event, which I'm always super excited about! Pictured here is my coupons I received from Old Navy through  Crowdtap (Click on "Crowdtap" if you want to join & here's a link to tell you more about Crowdtap )and I get to keep the free clothing in exchange for an honest review from me through blog & online report. I like to try and choose someone different just about every time I get something like this to be fair and meet new people and this time I chose a lady that is involved in a lot of church activities and my daughter gets the pleasure of meeting with her every Wednesday night for Awana. This lady has touched my heart with how she always seems to be able to keep it together even though her husband travels a lot and she really has given me a reality check when I complain about the same thing! Anyways, I gave her the coupon just to let her know th
