L'Oréal Paris Magic BB Cream in Medium - SheSpeaks Review

L'Oréal Paris Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream in Medium
*I was given this tube of BB cream for free to review from L'Oréal Paris through SheSpeaks.

I would like to start off by introducing myself as an esthetician or facialist and in that role I am constantly checking up on and trying to keep up-to-date on current skin care trends. BB cream is something I have been wanting to try for awhile now and has had me curious as to what it really is. I'll touch on that a little bit later after I provide some claims from the packaging and website.

Before
During:
*The packaging was attractive to me (if that really matters, I don't know)
*Easy application with clean fingers or a makeup pad
*A little goes a long way! A small dab on my hand provided enough coverage for my review. It really did work with not against my skin, covering redness, also used as a primer for my eyelids.
*The texture was light and it just glided right along my face making it smooth all over. It did not stain my fingers like makeup has done in the past! I'm still amazed at how it went from a little cream to tinting my whole face, not looking like I burnt myself, it was just the right shade for me!
*Did not feel caked on or heavy but more like powder once on my face
*No greasy feeling and no shine. Didn't seem to sweat it off after my workout the other day, still looked great!
*Makes me feel beautiful and feel good about putting it on my face
*Love the multi-tasking features!

*Would have love some SPF included but it is not a deal breaker for me
*Covers problem areas but I don't feel that it is a forever fix, just a quick fix.
*I would stick to my daily routine of exfoliation & moisturizing along with using this product to see lasting results.
*Hydrates & Primes to me seems the same if you do a little research
*Perfects & Corrects seem similiar as well
*I was concerned that a 4 in 1 might not be able to do all it claimed but I was wrong...continue reading further down to see why I feel this way.
After
Let's break down & review some of the claims I posted earlier

Primes: after applying, I immediately ran my fingers over my face, (yes I know, a big NO NO, but they were somewhat clean) and can safely say that it performed it's first task very well by "smoothing my skin's texture."
Perfects: looking at my face throughout each day that I tested this makeup and then viewing my photos, it did "hide my imperfections" mostly, but it did look so much better.
Hydrates: now this kind of confused me, it was "moisturizing" at first when applying it, but once it was on it felt soft as powder. Didn't bother me though because I knew so far it was doing it's job by looking great on me.
Corrects: now I agree that it does give my skin a "healthier looking, even complexion" but I don't really 100% agree that it corrects, as in tomorrow I will wake-up with perfect skin.
Before/After

I do believe in this cream, dont get me wrong! I love the all natural look I want because I am so busy as a mom & just want as simple as possible. To have a multi-tasking cream like this one & provide the results it did with minimal time & effort on my part, I would say I will be buying more in the future and telling others about it!
Before/After

This is where I tie in what I've learned during training to become a facialist/make-up artist, yes there are "tricks" to look a certain way or hide things but only daily exfoliating, moisturizing, healthy eating, a good nights rest, & exercise can truely give you the lasting results you want. However, I am not a doctor of any sort & these are just my thoughts, (unless otherwise quoted) thoughts as a consumer & esthetician. I want to thankyou for your time and reading my review!

Eunice R. says "I absolutely love the Loreal BB cream. It's the only thing that does not make me break out or oily. I love that it feels light and has a good enough coverage to get rid of redness and still give you a natural look. I'm not a big fan of heavy make-up or foundations."
